Chapter 1900 "I don't want to say it."

 Qin Jue raised his eyes.

"Okay." The smile on her face did not change.

The lively atmosphere still seemed to surround the two of them. Doctor Lu frowned. She keenly smelled a hint of danger. This was not the aggressive malice exuded by Qin Jue, but a ferocious beast bending over to be alert.

It means scrutiny and warning.

After a slight pause, Dr. Lu picked up the monitoring report with his hand, his movements revealing the calmness that comes only after he has experienced many battles.

She knew what she was about to face. Human psychology is strange and complex. Very few people have the courage to show vulnerability and face their true self. Just like when a lie or crime is exposed, the first reaction of most people is not shame but shame.

Anger - it is a kind of stress of being "invaded".

Now Dr. Lu will be the intruder.

"What else happened during the V blog live broadcast where fans gave virtual gifts?" She looked directly into Qin Jue's eyes.

Qin never avoided looking at Dr. Lu.

"Exposed?" she asked softly, as if she was simply talking to herself, "This 'lie detector' is more sophisticated than I thought."

Since it is produced by Qinyi Technology, it is normal.

"Do you want me to cooperate with your change of subject?" Dr. Lu asked calmly.

Qin Jue showed a formulaic polite smile, not stiff, but distant.

"I don't want to say it." She replied.

These four words are obviously not a response to the current problem, but the first question directed at Dr. Lu.

"Okay." Dr. Lu simply nodded without any further entanglement. She understood that there was no point in insisting on asking.

Just like the sober self-confidence when dealing with fans, Qin Jue's answer shows that she knows and admits it, but still chooses to activate the psychological defense mechanism, almost frankly expressing cowardice and determined to avoid it.

The monitoring report turned over one page after another in Dr. Lu’s hands.

"Your sister, Qin Yuqiao."

She started the second topic in a gentle tone, "What happened between you? Or, what happened to her?"

Qin Jue put the chocolate back on the tray, crossed his legs in a triangle position, put his elbows on his knees, and rested his hands lazily on one cheek.

"There are many things. It's troublesome to talk about. In one word, it's just that I feel sorry for her." Qin Jue said.

"Exposed body movements usually have two interpretations. The first is that you feel relaxed, safe, and have the confidence to expand your territory without worrying about being blocked; the second is just the opposite, because you feel uneasy, so you subconsciously expand yourself

The spatial range creates an unafraid effect to the outside world."

"You can just call my bluff." Qin Jue said.

Doctor Lu smiled and did not answer this sentence. Instead, he continued Qin Yuqiao's topic and said, "In comparison, you seem to have made some degree of psychological adjustment regarding your sister."

"Yeah." Qin Jue should be a little tired, "After all, it's quite rare to have a big fight just after we meet again. Everything that should be blown has been blown."

She took a breath and added: "That child is sensible and grows up very fast. I really have nothing to worry about."

Dr. Lu nodded lightly: "This goes back to a more typical case...the elders don't want to make the younger ones worry, so they choose to be patient and avoid it."

Qin Jue smiled briefly and said nothing. A picture of the little fox accidentally discovering abnormalities in his spiritual world flashed before his eyes when he was evolving.

She smacked her lips in annoyance.

"That's not something she should worry about in the first place."

Doctor Lu looked at Qin Jue slightly worriedly, and then said, "I can understand."

I can't help but worry, but I don't want to drag down my relatives or cause trouble to them... Many elderly people who are seriously ill will refuse treatment requests from their children and juniors because of this mentality.

Although she knew nothing about the specific events between Qin Jue and Qin Yuqiao, and could not simply substitute common examples, she was still able to empathize.

Qin Jue gave Dr. Lu a friendly smile.

"At the beginning of September, my sister left home to further her studies, and then met her lover."

Dr. Lu continued to compare Qin Jue's handwritten review and monitoring reports, "The data reflects that you have some mood swings when talking about your lover."

"Ah." Qin Jue responded, "I just want to be satisfied."

"Emotional needs including sexual needs?"

"Yeah."

"I haven't considered it..."

"I have considered it." Qin Jue grinned, "But it's hard to start. If you start, you won't be able to stop, which will delay things."

Dr. Lu thought for a moment.

"Should I continue to cooperate?" she asked suddenly.

Refers to the shifting focus mentioned earlier.

Qin Jue looked helpless. He put down his hands, put down his crossed legs, and leaned his upper body forward to get the water glass.

"It's easy to think too much when we are together." She raised the water glass to her mouth and said vaguely, "I am a participant, and so is he. When two living fossils come together, my brain will explode with memories."

Dr. Lu accepted these two sentences from the Riddler well and nodded habitually.

"You know what I'm going to ask next." She paused for two seconds and said, "Can I ask?"

Qin Jue’s tactics drink water.

Her eyelids were drooped, narrowing her field of vision, but even so, the simple drawing of a rabbit head on the paper and the pictures around it were still particularly dazzling in her peripheral vision.

"...I don't want to say it." After a while, Qin Jue whispered.

"Okay." Dr. Lu responded softly, "I won't ask anymore."

There was a bit of heaviness in the air, and Qin Jue sighed, looking a little tired.

"It's my problem." She picked up the pen and drew a circle on the head of the cute rabbit, "It has nothing to do with her."

"She doesn't remember anything, and she wasn't affected. It's just me being pretentious."

Doctor Lu sighed and filled Qin Jue with the last bit of warm water in the thermos.

"It's hard to unload when you carry too much."

"I don't plan to unload it," Qin Jue replied lightly.

"Do you think you won't be crushed one day?"

"I'm just too lazy to think about it now. I think I'll wait until that day."

"Lucky mentality."

"Hmm."

"I'm sorry I can't help you with this."

"Doctor Lu is joking." Qin Jue smiled and shook his head, "I am the one who is not cooperating. As a psychiatrist, it is naturally difficult for you."

The amount of information he has is too little, and Dr. Lu cannot prescribe the right medicine.

Although Qin Jue originally didn't want to solve these hidden problems with her - rather, these problems have already been a part of her, and whether they can be solved or not depends on the moment she voluntarily or involuntarily pretends to heal the wound.

Tear it open with your own hands.

"I'm suddenly curious, would you feel depressed when you encounter this situation where you can't 'save' the patient?" Qin Jue asked.

"There will be some regrets." Dr. Lu said with a smile, "However, treatment can never be achieved overnight. It requires long-term patience and confidence, so we have become accustomed to adjusting our emotions, waiting, and preparing for the next effort."

"If you try your best and still can't save yourself, what will happen then?"

"Accepting reality, or 'looking away' is also a kind of courage."

Dr. Lu blinked as he spoke. It was hard to tell whether he was being playful or cunning, "Let go of your need to help others and respect the fate of others."

This is a popular internet meme, but at this time it has more than just entertainment significance.

Qin Jue thought for a moment and nodded.

"I hope I can do it."
