Chapter 88: Hard Battle(1/2)
Time is passing by little by little.
Brian and the female elf Ilsey Vili are still trapped in the magic net world in pure white space.
A cloud of mist not far from them turned golden, and a little warm light turned into flames.
Brian couldn't help but look over, and he saw the scene before him, as if he opened a window in the rotating fog.
For a moment, the fog that appeared before him was similar to the snowflakes falling in the middle of winter.
Through the window, he saw a study room with bright fire.
In the room was an elf with a silver complexion, wearing a strange upturned burqa, sitting on a soft chair hanging in the air, concentrating on a magic book covered with dragon skin.
The female elf Ilsey Vili, who was standing beside her, was curious for a moment, leaned over and tilted her head to see what was written in the book.
The elf seemed to feel someone looking at him, so he raised his head and glared back, his eyes swept past, and Brian saw in surprise that it was a pair of rose-red eyes, with sharp eyes and full of anger.
He waved his slender fingers and made a complex casting gesture, a spell that Brian had never seen before.
Even with his high-level spell identification, he could not tell what kind of spell it was, and he could not even feel any magic fluctuations emitted around the elves.
Seeing the magic that the elves were about to cast, out of instinct, the two of them hurriedly dispersed, but found that the unknown spell, golden light, shining... Then, like a deflated ball, the funny thing turned into a volatile silver flame, which was extinguished in an instant, just one palm away from the elves' finger casting.
The elf's handsome face froze and jumped up from the soft chair like a spring. Seeing the spell he cast became like this, his anger turned into panic, and he angrily threw away the spell book in his hand.
And this magic book actually grew wings or spikes, as sharp as a sword blade, and then flew away 'angrily', like a swallow, passing an arc and disappeared from the edge of the window in the mist.
The elf mage grabbed a powerful and crackling staff, with sharp blades on both ends of the staff, and the moon runes on it shone.
He waved his staff and shouted silently at the magic books he could not see.
Immediately afterwards, the floating window closed, and Brian looked at the white mist that was about to dissipate.
"Hey!" Ilsey Weili whispered, "It's so strange. This...the illusion may be to tell us something, or to connect our place with many places, from time to time..."
She didn't know how to express it for a moment, and blinked Brian's slightly playful eyes in confusion.
"The question you can think of..." Brian also showed a confused look, "It's almost the same as me, but we don't know that elf mage, right?"
Ilsey Weili nodded slightly. At this time, the light behind her changed. Brian immediately turned around to face the flash and waved his hand to alert the elf beside him.
The thick fog surging in the distance shines with a gem-like red color, and after a moment, it turns green again.
At this moment, two silent figures in black robes, with their arms around their backs, were like street gangsters, and walked out in big steps through the green gap with unrecognizable relatives.
Then, the fog turned white again, and the two uninvited guests floated up like ghosts, floating towards Brian and the others at an extremely fast speed.
"Damn it! It's a lich again." Ilsey Weiri said in disgust.
The two lichs had no noses on their faces, half of them were withered flesh and half of them were yellowed bones, and their long dry arms were stretched out to her like zombies.
The female elf cursed herself and chopped it at one of the arms with the long sword buzzing in her hand, then pulled out a sharp short sword to block the other dry hand that described the claws.
Another lich grabbed Brian's face, and Brian's elf moon blade flashed a cold light, like cutting tofu, easily cutting off the lich's fingers, forcing it to stagger back.
"They have no intention of casting spells at all, which means they have long known that they cannot release spells here." Ilsey Villi murmured, she raised her dagger, set off an attacking position, stared at the fog around her to see who else attacked.
Two lichs came again at the female elves, and they looked unintelligent, reminding Brian of a limping cemetery zombie.
He felt that the eyes on the palms of the two lichs were staring at him fiercely, giving him an inexplicable sense of palpitations.
Recalling the lich he encountered before, Brian vaguely realized that these two lichs were probably Larock's puppet lich, and the purpose of appearing here was to monitor? Or was they testing them?
He doesn't know yet.
While Ilsey Weili's sword was entangled with the lich's fingers, Brian took this opportunity to swing the elf moon blade and accurately pierced one of the lich's eyes.
The moment when Brian stabbed the sword in, the lich kept smashing his mouth due to the pain deep in his soul, making funny cracking sounds.
The other eye suddenly shot something at Brian, but it turned into a fleeting silver flame.
Noting this situation, Ilsey Weili breathed a sigh of relief and said, "It seems that not only my magic failed, but they are the same."
"That's right." Brian agreed, his sword slashed through a sharp cold light, and a lich's head fell down and rolled into the rolling mist.
The headless undead creature bent down funnyly, sticking its shriveled buttocks, stretching out and fumbled, looking for the lost head on the ground. Ilsey Weili took the opportunity to kick the lich's butt and kicked it directly onto another lich.
The two lichs collided with a muffled sound and fell together.
The female elf immediately raised her sword and rushed over, slashing wildly.
Brian didn't move, he stood vigilantly between the storm and the thick silk that Xinbu turned into, glanced at the crazy move of Ilsey Villi, who had already dismantled the two poor lichs, and then looked into the fog.

Hearing his warning, Ilsey Weili turned around and faced the lich who had just walked out of the green gap, and stabbed him without hesitation.
The wrinkled face of the lich suddenly showed a panic expression, and subconsciously reached out to grab it. With one eye on his palm, Ilsey Weili cut off the hand with a counterattack.
The dried minced meat, dust and falling fingers bounced onto the lich's roaring face.
After Ilsey Weili cleanly and neatly dealt with these three lichs, she muttered: "Did you see it? The lich did not cast spells, and she didn't read a word at all! If it was really done by Laroc, this work would be too rough and extremely stupid."
Brian nodded silently. He saw the violent female elf dismembering the silent enemy, and curiously turned his remaining body over to check the spoils with the tip of his sword, of course he had nothing to find.
"Larlock is not as stupid as you said." Brian retracted his gaze from the lich's dismembered limb and broken arm.
"As for why they were sent to death under your sword? After all, without spells, it would be easy for us to kill them. Why attack us? If they were instructed, who gave such an irrational command!"
While speaking, a red flash appeared again on the left of Ilsey Vili, and a second appeared on the right. Two more lichs took steps forward with unrecognizable relatives.
"Hmph!" the female elf snorted and muttered again: "I didn't expect there were so many, maybe he was just testing us."
"As you say, the price of Naralok testing the enemy is too high."
Brian said, rushing out from where he was standing, slashing his sword at a lich's arm, and before the frightened lich could stagger back, he had already retreated.
He could see from the experience he gained that most of these lichs who lost their ability to cast spells were around the third to fourth levels.
He didn't believe that Laroc would give so many lichs for no reason and let him get experience, obviously there were other purposes.
"Maybe that's true, I wonder how many lichs he's going to send to count, or he's just thinking about tearing us open."
Ilsey Weili frowned and used a sword to block a vicious lich, and kicked it hard on its belly. If it was still a belly, the lich stumbled away with a grin.
"I think." After the female elf solved the lich who attacked her, she said again:
"For us, now is the time for sarcasm and gloating. We have to kill them anyway. You care what the other party wants and do, and you will be done as much as you come and kill."
This is indeed in line with the style of the warlike elves of Yongju Island.
Brian was about to speak, and more lichs came out of the gaps in the fog around them, at least a dozen, gathered beside a tall and confused Beno Lich.
Beno Lich stared around angrily and stumbled towards the two of them, looking slowly and reluctantly.
As it walked over, it had a painful expression on its face, trembling all over, murmuring, obviously struggling.
"It's fighting." Aware of this situation, Ilsey Villie did not take action at the first time, but instead approached Brian and whispered to remind him.
"It can be seen that this Beno Lich should be fighting against the people who manipulated it, such as Larlock." Brian stood there and spoke his thoughts.
Ilsey Weili immediately raised the ancient elf sword that buzzed and took a step to the side, so that she formed a left-right attack with Brian who was still there to resist the enemy's attack.
The Beno Lich stood up and looked at them sadly, apparently it was aware of the danger it faced.
Then, it sighed, reluctantly stretched back, pulling out an extremely slender, soft and easy-to-break black-blade sword from Brian's invisible strap.
The sword did not buzz, but hissed, looking like the inherited moon blade of the elves family.
Beno Lich raised his sword to his shoulder, as if he was preparing for an attack. Ancient elf runes flashed constantly on the strange black sword.
The lich took a step forward, and the sword blade spiraled. At the same time, the four lichs held sharp swords, scimitars, hard-headed hammers and flails to attack from both sides.
Brian raised his sword to block the Black Blade of Beno Lich, and then dodged away the sparks pouring from the black moon blade.
Obviously, this is indeed a moon blade passed down from the elves family.
After confirming the true identity of Beno Lich, Ilsey Weili did not have so much concern and slaughtered the surrounding lichs with full firepower, while Brian was responsible for dragging Beno Lich and did not choose to kill him.
Ilsey Vili's agile figure rushed forward like a sharp sword.
The lichs were shocked, like harvesting wheat, fell down with a muffled groan, and the lich behind them was stunned. If there was enough flesh on its face, it would have made a confused expression.
After chopping down the lich in front of him, the fierce Ilsey Vili jumped up and another lightning-like sword cut open the throat of the stunned lich ruthlessly, causing its head to sway on its shoulders.
She said to the lich in disgust: "How about dancing? Want to kill me, do you want to try again?"
"Shit..."
The lich stared at her, grinning, revealing a jagged black teeth. He raised his hands, his fingers as long as claws, and permeated the cold negative energy breath, but was cut off by Ilsey Villi's sword.
She solved it in the same way, and then, like a meat grinder, kept slashing at the lichs' shoulders, thighs and necks, completely ignoring the Beno Lich until the last lich disappeared in place.

The Beno Lich, who was dragged by Brian, saw that his helpers were slaughtered, took the initiative to jump out of the range of battle, looked at Brian and Ilsey Weili deeply, and took this opportunity to disappear into nothingness, together with the black-blade sword of the crazy snake dancing in its hand.
Immediately afterwards, a shocking sound came from the white mist.
In a dark crack, red light surrounded and green light shone out, like a shining green waterfall.
What followed was a bright green vortex, and a pair of lichs walked out from it.
This pair of lichs looked calm and calm, as stable as an old dog, and was not as obvious as those lichs before, writing the word "arrogance" on their faces.
The negative energy emitted from the opponent's body also made Brian feel that the strength of the lich had definitely reached the legendary level.
