Chapter 1 Martial Soul: Qixing Longyuan Sword

Chapter 1 Martial Soul: Seven-Star Dragon Abyss Sword

Douluo Continent, southwest of the Tiandou Empire, and Fasno Province.

Holy Soul Village is a small village located in the south of Notting City, Fasino Province, with only more than 300 households. Because a soul saint-level soul master had walked out of here a hundred years ago, he was named Holy Soul Village.

On the small road in the village, an old man with a long figure but energetic figure took two five or six-year-old children to chat while walking.

"Miss and Three Xiaobai, don't talk nonsense when you two get there, which angers the adults of the Wuhun Hall. I have both grown up when I watch you. I hope you can all awaken the powerful Wuhun. The honor of our Holy Soul Village depends on you to inherit." The old man turned his head and said to the two children behind him with a smile.

The old man is Jack, the village chief of Holy Soul Village. He is over 60 years old this year. Today he specially invited the deacon from the Wuhun Branch of Notting City to help the children in the village awaken their martial souls.

Looking at the two children with a calm expression behind her, Village Chief Jack couldn't help but sigh with emotion. Among the children of the same age in the village, only Tang San and Lin Bai are the most mature.

Tang San has an unreliable father, the village blacksmith Tang Hao, who helps home cook and wash clothes every day. I heard that Tang Hao taught Tang San forging a few days ago, isn’t this a nonsense? A child who is not yet six years old, let him do such heavy work sooner or later, he will have to mess up the child.

Thinking of this, Village Chief Jack touched his chin and prepared to have a good talk with Tang Hao today.

As for Lin Bai, it was even more difficult than Tang San's life. Lin Bai was an abandoned baby at the time, but fortunately he was adopted by the kind-hearted carpenter and his wife in the village. However, when Lin Bai was three years old, the carpenter and his wife also died of an acute illness. Lin Bai grew up eating a hundred families and helped the single man in the village wash clothes and clean the house to earn some money. In addition, the help of his village chief, he finally did not starve to death, but he looked pale and thin, and looked malnourished.

Although Lin Bai's experience was miserable, he was very sensible. Even if he fainted from the street, he had never stole anything from the villagers. He would scream when he saw anyone, and his aunt, uncle and grandparents shouted, with a sweet mouth. Everyone in the village liked this sensible child very much.

Lin Bai held the wooden sword in his arms, looked at Tang San beside him, and frowned in confusion.

Although Tang San is less than six years old, about the same age as he is now, he has a strong look at his appearance, his hands are faintly shining with white jade, and as his eyes open and close, a purple light is occasionally revealed.

"Tang Sect in Shu, Xuan Yu Hand? Purple Demon Eyes?" Lin Bai thought to himself, "But how could the Tang Sect martial arts of the original world appear in this world? Could it be that he is the same?"

Lin Bai was originally a disciple of the Qinglian Sword Sect in Tianshan. When the sword immortal Li Bai pretended to die, he actually returned to his hometown of Suiye City, founded the Qinglian Sword Sect in Tianshan, and Lin Bai was the closed disciple of Li Mubai, the contemporary leader of the Qinglian Sword Sect.

Lin Bai was too arrogant in his previous life. When he realized that his sword cultivation had reached a bottleneck, he actually wanted to fight with Tianlei on a thunderstorm, using thunder to baptize the sword and break through himself. In the end, he failed, but also succeeded.

He was struck by nine thunders, but he also used the power of the thunder to blast open the underground secret room of the Sword Sect and found the lost internal skills of the Sword Sect's "Taixuan Sutra" and the unique sword technique of the Sword Immortal "The Knight's Walk".

But although he obtained the unique skills of the Sword Immortal, he was seriously injured by the thunder and was unable to practice at all.

In the last year of his life, he read these two unique skills and handed them over to his master Li Mubai, which could be regarded as fulfilling one of his wishes and leaving a long ladder to reach the sky for future sword monks.

Lin Bai, who thought he was dead, was accidentally reborn in the Holy Soul Village of Douluo Continent, but fate played a joke with him. The kind-hearted carpenter couple who adopted him died of illness and died of an emergency. He could only rely on the help of kind-hearted villagers to grow up with the help of hundreds of families.

Thinking of this, he touched the little wooden sword in his arms and sighed, why can a good person not live long?

This small wooden sword was made by a carpenter when he was two years old. He still treasured it as a treasure and the sword never leaves it. Even when he was the hungry, the children in the village wanted to exchange food for him for this small wooden sword, but he gritted his teeth and refused to agree.

Tang San also secretly looked at Lin Bai beside him. He had heard the name Lin Bai from others and admired Lin Bai's strength. After all, he was fatherless and motherless in his previous life. When he met Lin Bai, who was similar to his previous encounter, he couldn't help but feel a little sympathy.

But after Tang San looked at Lin Bai carefully, he was secretly shocked. Lin Bai seemed to have a pale face and thin skin, but in fact he was introverted. Especially when the two looked at each other just now, their purple demon eyes seemed to see a peerless magic sword, which was injured by the sharpness of the magic sword.

"Ouch." Tang San let out a cry of pain and rubbed his eyes.

Old Jack was startled, turned around and asked, "What's wrong with the mistress? Are your eyes uncomfortable?"

"It's okay, Grandpa Jack, let's go quickly, don't delay the awakening ceremony." Tang San rubbed his red eyes and said.

After saying that, Tang San looked at Lin Bai secretly again, but this time he did not use the purple demon eyes. Nothing happened this time, and his eyes were not injured.

"It's actually a natural sword fetus. But it's not right. Even if it's a natural sword fetus, how could an ordinary person who has not practiced can hurt me?" Tang San asked in confusion, but he didn't think much about it. He and Lin Bai followed the village chief of Old Jack to the Wu Soul Hall in the center of the village.

In the blacksmith shop, Tang Hao, who was sleeping drunk, suddenly opened a crack in his eyes, and a foot-sized light shot out, and the cups and plates on the table were shaken by a powerful aura and fell to the ground, shattered into pieces of porcelain.

"Is it another one?" Tang Hao murmured, then closed his eyes again, and snored in a short while.

The so-called Wuhun Hall in the village is just a larger wooden house. This year, there are a total of nine children who have awakened Wuhun in the village, with Tang San and Lin Bai at the end.

In addition to the village chief and the nine children who were about to awaken, there was also a young man in his twenties in the Wuhun Hall, with sword-browed eyebrows and starry eyes, handsome appearance, wearing the standard uniform of the directly affiliated personnel of the Wuhun Hall, white strong suit and black cloak, with a fist-sized soul word written in the center of his chest. The badge on the young man's left chest was intertwined with three long swords.

Lin Bai has been to Douluo Continent for six years and has also gained some understanding of the level division of cultivation.

Not all martial souls can be cultivated, most of them cannot be cultivated. Only a small number of martial souls can innately generate soul power and be qualified to cultivate soul power.

The badge on the young man's chest means that he is a master of war souls, which is quite good at his age.

Old Jack and the young man had a brief conversation and walked out of the Spirit Hall.

The young man asked the nine children to stand in a row and smiled at them, "My name is Su Yuntao, the 26th-level great soul master, you are your guide. Now I will awaken you martial souls one by one. Remember, don't be afraid no matter what happens."

Su Yuntao took out two things from his package, six black round stones and a shiny blue crystal ball. He arranged the black stones into a hexagon and let the first child stand inside.

Su Yuntao shouted softly: "Lone wolf, possessed."

In an instant, black hair grew all over his body, his eyes were glowing green, and his hands turned into a pair of sharp claws. Two circles of halos lit up from under his feet, constantly wandering from head to toe, one was white and the other was yellow.

The child in the middle of the hexagon screamed and turned around and wanted to run away, but was caught by Su Yuntao: "Don't be afraid if you say it, this is my martial soul, lonely wolf. If you can become a soul master in the future, you can also use similar abilities."

Neither Lin Bai nor Tang San were afraid, but instead worked hard all over his body at the same time.

Tang San's eyes sucked and spitted, and his hands were covered with white jade color.

Lin Bai's body was straight, and the wooden sword in his arms emitted a wave of dragon roars.

Seeing that Su Yuntao did not want to attack them, the two looked at each other, smiled at each other, and continued to watch the awakening ceremony.

Soon, the previous children had finished testing and had no talent for soul power.

It was Tang San's turn. He stood in the center of the hexagon and cooperated with Su Yuntao's operation. Countless golden light spots surrounded Tang San. Tang San opened his hand and a blue silver grass appeared in the palm of his right hand.

"It's another useless martial soul." Su Yuntao said annoyedly, and then he wanted to call Lin Bai forward. However, after Tang San's repeated insistence, Su Yuntao still tested Tang San's soul power.

Tang San held his hand tightly against the blue crystal ball, and the internal energy of Xuantian Gong in his body was continuously sucked into the crystal ball. The crystal ball suddenly showed a sapphire-like halo, and the entire crystal ball was shining.

"Oh my God, it's actually the innate soul power. It's a pity that you are a useless martial soul." Su Yuntao sighed.

Tang San didn't care, and asked Su Yuntao some common sense of cultivation, then stepped aside, and looked at Lin Bai with bright eyes.

When Lin Bai heard the conversation between Tang San and Su Yuntao just now, he immediately understood the general level of the world's cultivation system and the question he cared about most: why no matter how he practiced, the true energy in his body stopped increasing.

"It turns out that you have to attach a soul ring to enter the next level. It seems that you have the chance to hunt a soul beast." Lin Baisi Sui said, "According to the sensing just now, Tang San and me are equally good at it. It seems that I have innate soul power. So what will my martial soul be?"

"Lin Bai!" A call suddenly interrupted Lin Bai's thoughts. He raised his head and saw Su Yuntao looking at him with an impatient look on his face.

It’s not a big deal that Su Yuntao had finally seen a seedling with innate soul power, but a waste of martial soul, Blue Silver Grass. How could he make him feel good?

Lin Bai scratched his head embarrassedly and stood in the center of the hexagonal formation made of black stones. Su Yuntao inputted his soul power into the six stones.

Suddenly, a golden light in the formation lit up, and Lin Bai felt a warm feeling covering his whole body. His true energy fluctuated slightly under the influence of that warm feeling. Then something seemed to be broken in his body, and all the warmth flowed towards the palm of his right hand.

"Sharp" dragon roars, and a long sword appeared on Lin Bai's right hand in an instant.

Lin Bai's body was filled with true energy and could not help but roaring to the sky. All the weapons hanging on the walls of the house fell to the ground, and the racks where the weapons were placed fell down, as if all the weapons had to kneel under the sword.

Su Yuntao seemed to have encountered something that scary, and his martial soul was instantly relieved. He sat on the ground with cold sweat on his forehead.

Tang San looked at the sword in Lin Bai's hand and felt familiar. He seemed to have read the introduction of this long sword in the Tang sect's sect classics in his previous life.

Lin Bai held the long sword in his hand and looked at the sword body. He felt as if he was standing on a high valley looking down at the abyss. There was a huge dragon lying on the bottom of the abyss.

He was immediately excited, - this sword turned out to be the treasure of the Qinglian Sword Sect, the sword of the sword immortal Li Bai, and the ancient magic sword known as the "Sword of Integrity and Nobleness" - Seven Star Dragon Abyss.

Note: 1. The Longquan Sword, also known as the Longyuan Sword, began in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, and is more than 2,600 years old. It is a famous sword in ancient China and a sword of integrity and nobility. Legend has it that it was cast by the two sword masters Ou Yezi and Gan Jiang.

According to legend, Ou Yezi and Gan Jiang cast this sword, digging up the mountain, releasing the stream in the mountain, and leading it to the seven pools next to the sword-casting furnace that formed a seven-star ring of the Big Dipper. It is called "Seven Stars". After the sword is completed, looking down at the sword body, it is like climbing a high mountain and looking down at the abyss, ethereal and deep as if a giant dragon lying on the plate. It is called "Longyuan". Therefore, it is called "Seven Stars Dragon Abyss", which is abbreviated as "Longyuan Sword".

In the Tang Dynasty, because he avoided the taboo of Emperor Gaozu Li Yuan, he changed the word "Yuan" to "quan", which was called "Seven Stars Longquan", which was abbreviated as "Longquan Sword".

2. The "Longquan Sword" began in the Spring and Autumn Period and Warring States Period, and has been around for more than 2,600 years.

"Yue Jue Shu" records: In the Spring and Autumn Period, Ou Yezi dug the mountain, leaked the stream, took Tieying from the mountain, made three swords, saying: "Longyuan", "Tai'a", "gongbu".

In the Southern Song Dynasty, He Dan's "Longquan County Chronicles" records: "There is a Jianchi Lake in the near future. It is said that Ou Yezi made a sword here, and one of them was Longyuan."

"The Book of Yue Jue: The Sword of the Bible" also records: The King of Chu said, "What is Longyuan, Taia, Gongbu?" Feng Huzi replied, "If you want to know Longyuan, look at its shape, it is like climbing a high mountain and facing the abyss;..."

"Book of Jin: Biography of Zhang Hua" records, "When Wu was not destroyed, there were often ultraviolet purple air between bullfighting. After Wu Ping, the purple air became brighter. Hua heard that Lei Huan was wonderful and beautiful in Yuzhang, so he wanted to stay, so he climbed the tower to look up. Hua said, "Who is this? "Huan said, "The essence of the sword is penetrated into the big ears." Hua said, "Which county is in Fengcheng?" Hua said, "Huan was in Fengcheng, Yuzhang." Hua immediately restored Huan as the commander of Fengcheng. Huan went to the county to dig the base of the prison house and got a stone trunk, with two swords in it, and engraved the title, one was Longquan, and the other was Tai'a. Huan sent an envoy to send a sword and Hua, leaving a pendant."

In addition, this sword was once Li Yuan's sword. After Li Yuan died, he was buried in Xianling. There is also a legend that Li Yuan once passed on this sword to Emperor Taizong Li Shimin, and later buried in Zhaoling with Li Shimin.

Story 1

Although this sword casting skill is exquisite, its reputation lies in an ordinary fisherman whose real name cannot be known: Yu Shaoren.

During the Spring and Autumn Period, the parents of the famous general Wu Zixu and his brother were killed by treacherous ministers. Wu fled to the end of the world and was chased by the Chu soldiers and horses. He fled to the shore of the Yangtze River. He saw the vast river water with thousands of waves. He blocked the water in front and there were pursuers behind him. When he was anxious, Wu Zixu found a small boat coming upstream quickly. The fisherman on the boat called him on the boat. After Wu Zixu got on the boat, the boat quickly disappeared into the reed flowers and disappeared. The pursuers on the shore left in disappointment.

The fisherman carried Wu Zixu to the shore and brought wine and food for Wu Zixu. Wu Zixu thanked him deeply and asked him the name of the fisherman. The fisherman laughed and said that he was wandering around. What was the use of his name? He just said: "Fisherman". Wu Zixu thanked him and said, "Fisherman". After walking a few steps, he turned around and turned back. He removed the sword of his ancestors from his waist from his waist: Seven Stars Dragon Abyss, and wanted to give this sword worth a thousand gold to the fisherman to thank him. He also asked the fisherman not to reveal his whereabouts. The fisherman took the Seven Stars Dragon Abyss Sword, sighed to the sky, and said to Wu Zixu: Save you only because you are a loyal and kind-hearted country and do not seek repaid. Now, you still suspect that I am greedy for profit and have little faith, so I have to show my nobleness with this sword. After saying that, he committed suicide by slashing his sword. Wu Zixu regretted it inexplicably. The story is seen in "Wu Yue Chunqiu".

Story 2

There is Mount Hua in the west, and Mount Hua in the east (in Fengxian). Although Mount Donghua is not big, it is also mysterious and magical. There is a golden mound in the front mountain, and the mountain behind (also called Guishan) will bring ingots. The scenery in the mountains is beautiful and endless, such as "Immortal Cave", "Flying Stone", "Pine Cliff Drop Green"... It is a resort for tourists to watch and have fun. There is also a look at the old Longquan, which flows out from the cave day and night, and ancient trees and wild flowers in the mountains, and the scenery is picturesque.

Although the Lao Longquan is not big, it is very deep. Someone tied red silk around his neck and drove a group of ducks into the Lao Longquan Cave. Three months later, these ducks appeared in the East China Sea. Therefore, people say that the Lao Longquan in Huashan leads directly to the Lao Long Palace in the East China Sea. The shrimp soldiers, crab generals and Zhenhai Xiaolong also appeared in the Lao Longquan in Huashan. Lao Longquan is not an ordinary place.

The young Liu Bang often came here to play. He saw a white-haired old man twitching irons by the old Longquan several times, and he always burned the half-blocked iron every time. Liu Bang felt strange and asked the old man, "Grandpa, why do you always burn this iron?" The old man looked at him and said, "The knife is sharpened on the stone, and the steel is tempered in the fire. After thousands of times, how can it be made into a good piece of steel?" Liu Bang asked again, "How long do you need to temper?" "Forty-nine days." Liu Bang was surprised when he heard this, and asked again, "Grandpa, what are you trying to make this steel?" The old man told him, "You have to fight a sword and give it to the emperor."

When Liu Bang heard this, he turned his mouth and said, "Hmph, do you dare to give the murder to the tyrant? Why not give it to me!" The old man smiled and said, "It's not for the current emperor, but a future true dragon emperor..." Liu Bang loved martial arts since he was a child and longed for a good sword, so he said without hesitation: "I am the future true dragon emperor, just give it to me..." The old man laughed and said, "You kid, you are very brave..." Liu Bang said, "There is nothing scary about the emperor today." The old man nodded slightly and said, "Well, I will give it to you after you hit the sword." Liu Bang said happily, "Grandpa, I thank you! When can you fight well?" The old man made a time with him and asked him to come alone for four o'clock and five o'clock. He wanted to try his courage. Liu Bang thanked the old man and went back.

According to the agreed time, Liu Bang went over the mountains alone and came to Lao Longquan. He saw the old man waiting under the lamp. Liu Bang asked, "Is the sword ready?" The old man smiled and said, "Look!" As he said that, he took it out of the red silk and took off the sword sheath. The sword blade was like lightning in the air, shining with light and cold air. It was a rare sword in the world.

The old man inserted the sword into the sheath and handed it to Liu Bang and said, "Have you ever met?" Liu Bang was overjoyed and took it with both hands, "It's great!" He kowtowed and thanked the old man. He looked at the handle again, and saw a dragon carved on it, and the word "Longyuan" was mentioned. The old man said, "How do you try it?" Liu Bang pulled out the Longquan sword and danced. The old man nodded repeatedly to praise and explained, "If you want to keep it with you, it will be of great use in the future." After that, he handed Liu Bang a letter. Liu Bang took it and saw it said:

"Slay demons and avoid evil and kill corrupt officials, eliminate violence and safeguard all people. One day, one day, you will rely on the Three-foot Dragon Abyss Sword."

Liu Bang turned to look at the old man, but the old man was gone without a trace.

Later, Liu Bang used this Dragon Abyss Sword to slash snakes in Mangdang Mountain.
