Chapter 5 The Method of Visualization
In April, Shi Xuan and the neighbors did not have much interaction. They just came to say a few words when they went out for dinner every day. Aunt Zhang mentioned her daughter several times, but Shi Xuan was cold in reaction and did not mention it anymore. She just talked about gossip with the neighbors, such as the emperor recruited people from all over the world to edit Taoist books; Master Jiang wrote another popular poem in Hangzhou; the new story book of the scattered people in the mountains and fields tells the story of human and ghosts falling in love, and the teahouse is very popular every day; there is a Chixia God Temple in Liangzhou who seeks marriage very well, but it is a pity that it is too far away; the widow surnamed Wu married a businessman from the Western Regions, with a high nose and deep eyes looking scary; there are also some widows of Zhang and Li family who love to be lazy, etc.
On this morning in late October in late autumn, Shi Xuan drank Qianyuan Marrow-Sweeping Decoction and began to fight the Ten Dragon Demon-Subduing Fist in the courtyard. After so long of practice, he quickly got into the state and grasped the feelings of the body and soul more clearly.
The barbarian dragon turns his waist, the blue dragon burys the waves, the fire dragon burns the sky, and the white dragon freezes the sea. Each punch move allows the body to be trained deeper, but the feeling of not grasping the divine marrow is getting stronger and stronger. I haven't crossed this hurdle in the past four months, and I seem to have a sense of being unable to express it.
When the Canglong flies in the sky, he suddenly enters a state of emptiness and darkness. The fist moves with the heart, the heart follows the spirit, and the spirit follows the soul's thoughts, essence, energy, spirit, and soul seem to be closely linked. The feeling of not being able to grasp the essence of the spirit seems to be able to break it in an instant. Shi Xuan concentrated all his strength in his body, shouted all over his body, and a black dragon played in the water, as if he broke a layer of barriers. At the same time, he felt a vast and ancient, simplicity, and the water in the air could control it and hit it with this punch.
After the punch was shot, Shi Xuan's bones sounded lightly, and it took a long time to stop. It was a sign of the power penetrated the bone marrow and penetrated one by one. This was a sign of great success in bodybuilding. Shi Xuan could only control his muscles and bones, but now he felt that the power of his soul increased greatly, becoming more sensitive, and being able to control the depths of the bones and the subtle corners of his body.
At this time, many heat air rises from the bone marrow and penetrates into the internal organs. Shi Xuan is very happy and dares not neglect. He closes his eyes and regulates his breathing, controls these heat air to pass through the five internal organs, and finally returns to the dantian. Then he closes his eyes and stops working, his face full of joy, and he takes this opportunity to break through to the stage of nourishing qi and strengthening souls.
At the same time, because the physical body used to practice the eight extraordinary meridians, but because of the death of the soul, the original internal energy also dissipated. This means that Shi Xuan no longer needs to work hard to open up the eight extraordinary meridians one by one, saving a lot of time.
Generally speaking, it takes about fifteen years for internal masters in the martial arts to accumulate internal energy to open up the eight extraordinary meridians. This still requires good qualifications, not addicted to others, and practice hard. Those with poor qualifications take longer. Therefore, many internal masters cannot open up the eight extraordinary meridians in their entire lives. As for those with great talent and adventures, it takes seven or eight years to complete them.
Why can Du Bai open the eight extraordinary meridians in just three years? There are three reasons: First, he practices the true teachings of Taoism, which is a world of difference, and the difference between immortals and mortals. Second, Taoism is more important in nourishing skills, and fighting depends on magic, talismans, magic tools, etc., and no matter what the internal martial arts internal strength is, it still has a severe effect of hurting the enemy. No matter how good the internal energy is, it can control the internal energy, and if the internal energy is controlled well, the effect of opening the meridians is much better. Although internal energy still has the effect of nourishing the soul, it is mainly to hurt people and retreat enemies. Soul cultivation is by the way, the purpose is different, and the effect is different. Third, Du Bai himself has a good qualification, otherwise he would not be favored by Old Dao Xu as a disciple.
Since Shi Xuan entered the Qi-Healing Period, the medicine soup and the medicine bath can stop. This natural situation of entering the Qi-Healing Period means that the body has reached a limit at this stage. If it goes beyond it, it will be harmful. It is followed by accumulation of internal qi and transforming the essence of the body. At the same time, it will naturally nourish the body and slowly strengthen the body. At the same time, the meat consumption should increase every day to ensure the need to cultivate essence and transform qi. After the twelve meridians and eight extraordinary meridians are filled with internal qi, other small meridians will be opened to form an acquired circulation. This is the peak state of the Qi-Healing Period.
At this time, Shi Xuan's soul strength can also begin to visualize. However, Shi Xuan did not go back to the house to meditate immediately, because there were slow and urgent practices. Shi Xuan finally broke through the realm and was at a time of joy. Forcibly calming down and meditating and visualizing was harmful.
Moreover, Shi Xuan always felt a sense of crisis since he came to this world. His own strength was not enough and he could not protect himself. Therefore, he rarely went out except for eating and buying medicine. He kept his energy up and wanted to improve his strength. Otherwise, if he encountered something when he went out without the corresponding strength as a backing, he would inevitably be frustrated. This is a manifestation of the sequelae of time travelers.
Now Shi Xuan has finally broken through the Qi nourishing stage and is a master in the world. With magic and talismans, it is more than enough to protect himself. He has let go of most of the pressure in his heart, so this is the time for Shi Xuan to relax and rest, and it is not suitable for practicing.
Shi Xuan sat on the ground, with his back against the small well, holding a small pot of yellow wine that was turned out from Xu Laodao's room in his right hand, and holding a volume of "Jinkuizi Talks about All Ghosts and Gods" left by a Taoist senior collected by Xu Laodao. It not only talks about what is heretics ghosts and gods, but also mentions all kinds of ghosts and monsters. The smell of taunts in Chinese Studio is very strong. At this time, the autumn air is clear and the breeze is coming. Read a page or two of books, take a sip of yellow wine. When you are excited, you shake your head and have a lot of leisure to read Huang Ting's freedom.
People in this world will not have reincarnation after death. If no one sacrifices, their souls will slowly lose their memory after seven days, and will slowly transform into the world after ten days, and completely dissipate after a hundred days. Unless they have great resentment and obsession, or encountering a place of yin energy, they can stabilize their souls and turn into ghosts. The souls of practitioners who practice Taoism are backfired by heaven and earth, and their souls will be destroyed when they die. Unless they practice to the Yin God stage, they can fight against this heavenly way. Therefore, people in the world pay more sacrifices and enjoy family sacrifices to protect their souls from being immortal for several years. The more people sacrifice, the longer the time they will be immortal. However, unless they can understand the incense and vows of the sacrifices to be transformed into their own Taoist practice, they will last for only a hundred years at most. These souls who are sacrificed are collectively called ghosts and gods.
Those who have great resentment and obsessions gradually become yin ghosts. Obsessions are revenge, while behaviors rely on obsessions. Very few are sensible and sober. Of course, there are also a few who maintain their mind because obsessions are not fierce and maintain their minds. However, cultivation is unconscious. Generally speaking, the older they age, the more powerful they become. Those who do not have wiseness will gradually become wise after ten years. Those who encounter yin energy, as before, gradually become yin ghosts, but the difference is that they do not have vengeance, have wise and wisdom, but practice is not inherited. If you want to survive forever, you must eat blood, yang energy, or soul power. These two souls that have not died a hundred days ago are collectively called heretic ghosts and gods.
Because they need to eat blood, yang energy, or soul power, heretic ghosts and gods often harm people. However, if their cultivation is not enough, they often cannot get close to people with strong qi and blood. When they get close to them, they will burn their negative soul bodies by the strong qi and blood, and in severe cases they will be destroyed. At the same time, heretic ghosts and gods who have not practiced to the out-of-body stage often take advantage of the cultivation of cultivators to stimulate their emotions, let them get into the heart, and thus get into the devil, giving them the opportunity to absorb the soul power of cultivators.
The ability of heretic ghosts and gods to stimulate other people's emotions is their talent, and they can be used at a distance. Therefore, there are three main ways to deal with this talent: one is to arrange a formation to isolate the inside and outside, but Shi Xuan doesn't know this now; the second is to concentrate on his cultivation and not have distracting thoughts in concentration, so this method of induced emotions has no effect; the third is to have a magic weapon that suppresses the soul, but Shi Xuan does not.
Even so, the Ningshen Sandow secretly made by Xu Laodao can also help focus on the spirit and slightly suppress the functions of ghosts and gods of the heretics. So in general, as long as Shi Xuan does not think randomly when practicing, there will be no danger. Moreover, as long as he is not confused by his mind, if something is wrong, and he is injured in his soul, he must immediately withdraw from the meditation.
After a pleasant day, Shi Xuan had already restrained his mind and his whole body reached a peak. He took a bath, changed clothes, burned incense, and worshiped the world. Through this series of steps, both the mind and the spirit reached an ethereal and calm state. Of course, after being proficient in the future, or after his cultivation level is advanced, he would not need so many complicated steps. He would often achieve this ethereal and calm state after one breath.
Shi Xuan sat cross-legged on the cushion, closed his eyes and focused his mind, hugged the Yuan and Shouyi, and soon entered the center of concentration. After entering the center of concentration, he began to visualize the divine meaning of the clear breeze and bright moon in the "Qingfeng and bright moon shining on the God-True Method" recorded in "Treasure Lu". In the first few times, he always visualized halfway, and then had other thoughts, and then failed, just like an ordinary person who wanted to concentrate on one thing, but always had thoughts, and then woke up and returned to his original place.
Shi Xuan was not discouraged. He knew that this was a normal thing. He began to practice the method of restraining thoughts contained in the "Qing Feng and the Moon Shining the Gods" and imagined that he was the master of his own high and superiority, looking down at his many thoughts, many thoughts arise and fill the entire sea of consciousness. As the master, he allowed these thoughts to be bound in the sea of consciousness and no longer rose and fall.
Here, we do not want to kill all thoughts. If all thoughts are destroyed, we may eventually cultivate into a stone without thoughts and emotions. What we emphasize here is the absolute control of the God, which is high above, and controls these thoughts no longer rise or fall, and calmly beside the sidelines and thinks will be destroyed and born, but cannot jump out of the control range. Therefore, the supreme state that needs to be reached here is not "no thoughts will not be born in the realm of void", but "no thoughts will not be born in the realm of void". This is exactly the true saying of the word, falsely spreading thousands of books. At the same time, this is also the great way of knowing the God.
