Chapter Eleven The Safest Place
"You actually speak French?" the girl said in surprise.
"I only know a little bit. During the summer vacation, one of my...teachers suggested that I learn some French," William said.
He is not very standard in French and is not skilled, so he can only conduct the simplest oral communication, but it is already good for a twelve-year-old child.
Who made the beautiful and inconspicuous young lady on the opposite side know only "Hello" and "Sao Rui".
Just as William was chatting with the girl, Dumbledore took Maxim to slightly distance.
"Sorry, Furong is not able to control her talents yet."
Although Mrs. Maxim was apologizing, she had no intention of apologizing in her tone.
"But it really surprised me that the child could not be charmed by Furong."
Children with Veva blood will unconsciously develop some charm as they get older.
This ability requires acquired learning to control, and Furong is obviously unable to do it. She will always unconsciously exert magic, allowing others to become dull or make a fool of themselves when they see her.
Few underage wizards can resist, but William is completely unaffected.
"The mixed blood of Veva and the wizard will make the child go smoother on the wizard's path. You have an excellent student." Dumbledore smiled, without mentioning the meaning of the Qingxin Potion at all.
"So, this kid really caught a Death Eater, by his own strength?"
"If you want to change it."
Maxim thoughtfully, and she asked, "Have Kakarov contacted you?"
"Well, he said something was wrong, and he couldn't come to the banquet for the Medal of Merlin for the time being." Dumbledore said regretfully.
"A coward." Maxim said disdainfully: "He was just frightened by the Death Eaters at the Hogwarts Magic School."
Dumbledore smiled helplessly, and Maxim's words mocked the two of them at the same time. They were such merciless women.
"Then let's go first and talk later." Maxim said, waving at Furong.
Dumbledore nodded.
"I'm leaving, Mrs. Maxim is calling me." Furong shook her silver hair like a waterfall.
"Oh, of course." William said in French with London accent, which seemed very strange.
Furong couldn't help laughing, and she smiled like a flower. "You have to learn more French."
"My mother helped me find a teacher to tutor me, and the man stayed in France for two years." William smiled. "But she is definitely not as good as your French."
"Well, that's right!" Furong put her hands behind her back, quickly walked forward a few steps, and suddenly turned her head and asked, "Can you give me your address? Otherwise, how should I send you a letter, um... to tutoring French?"
The girl flipped her pockets.
"Write it on my clothes, oh, I didn't bring a pen, either."
William was stunned for a moment, with a bright smile on his face, "This is simple."
He took two steps forward and a faint fragrance came from the girl.
He reached out his hand and boldly removed two long silver hairs from Hibiscus's gorgeous robe.
He slid over his right hand and gently touched it, turning one of them into parchment with the Hogwarts school badge and the other into a gorgeous golden quill.
Furong covered her mouth and was surprised, and Maxim's eyes were also flashing.
This kind of transformation technique is not something that a first-grade wizard can have. In fact, even Furong can't do it so easily.
William wrote beautiful floral characters on parchment and handed them to the girl.
"goodbye."
"goodbye!"
After the four separated, Dumbledore smiled and said, "Is it the French that Nick asked you to learn?"
"Yes." William nodded honestly: "Mr. Lemay also suggested that I go to Boothbaton Magic School as an exchange student."
During the summer vacation, William and the old man from Devon had a lot of letters, and the other party gave him a lot of advice, including some of the old man's early notes, but most of them were written in French.
Nicklemay is a Frenchman. If you want to understand, you must first learn French.
Fortunately, Leanna knew many professors, so she found a French teacher to help with tutoring.
William also got to know Boothbaton during the summer vacation, so he could recognize Mrs. Maxim at a glance.
But where would the French teacher have good tutoring for Florence Delakure?
Is it okay to have a difference?
"Nick once suggested to me like this," Dumbledore showed a trace of daze.
"Then have you gone?"
"No." Dumbledore shook his head sadly: "At that time, I had to go home on weekends because of some family affairs, and could not go to Boothbaton."
William wanted to ask something, but Dumbledore didn't say much, but took him and chatted with the two wizards.
One of them is Gerselda Machiban and the other is Tiberus Ogden.
They are all very old wizards, highly respected, and members of Wiesengamor, which is very suitable for broadening their connections.
When William returned to his seat, the banquet had begun for some time.
The house-elf in the kitchen seemed to have tried their best. Various dishes were placed in front of them, half of which were foreign.
William forked a piece of bacon, and he was starved.
"Brother." Annie came over and was about to tell him something. Her nose twitched, and she sniffed in his hands like a cat.
"You have a special scent on your hands!"
"Is there any?" William pretended to be puzzled, "It was probably from Professor Dumbledore. He sprayed a lot of strong perfume, which made my nose hurt. This person!"
Hermione and Anne looked at each other, both squinted their eyes and showed doubtful gazes.
"Did you get the gold chocolate?" William looked at the twin brothers.
"Of course!" Fred said excitedly, "Just just now, the three of us slipped into the kitchen. The gold coins and chocolates were made by those house elves. We asked them for a lot of them."
George said happily: "I will write an advertising slogan when I go back. This kind of gold chocolate will definitely be popular."
"That's good!"
The banquet was finally over in the evening.
William and Hermione did not go back immediately, but instead used Floor powder to go to Diagon Alley from the Burnt Cauldron Bar by using the fireplace.
William needed to add some potion materials and buy a new crucible by the way, while Hermione wanted to buy a pet.
Professor McGonagall only took her to buy textbooks and some necessary items, but did not buy pets.
William also needs to deposit his two thousand gallons into the Gringott, which is a huge sum of money for him.
To do this, he will open a private vault.
Diagon Alley in the evening was even more lively, but everyone just took a look at it casually and headed straight to Guling Pavilion.
Guling Pavilion is a snow-white building towering above the surrounding shops. Next to the shiny bronze gate, a fairy in a scarlet gold uniform stood.
William has facial blindness and he is not able to tell whether this fairy who welcomes guests is the first time he has come.
To him, every goblin looks the same.
Hermione looked at Guling. This was her second time in Diagon Alley. The last time she was brought by Professor McGonagall.
But she was still very curious. After all, this place is known as the "safeest place" in the magic world.
No one has ever been able to steal this underground vault.
