Chapter 12 Runaway Fire Dragon (Happy New Year)

After everyone walked into the Guling Pavilion, the two fairies bowed to them and led them into the tall marble hall.

About a hundred or ten fairies sat on high stools behind a long row of counters. Some used copper balances to weigh coins, and some used eyepieces to check gems while registering in a large account book.

There are countless doors in the hall that lead to different places, and many fairies guide people to enter and exit these doors.

Several people walked towards an older goblin, and he was checking a thick piece of gold through the lens.

The fairy threw the gold coins in his hand aside and said hello to William.

Apparently, William has gained great popularity in the UK with the Medal of Merlin.

"I need to run a private vault," William said directly.

"Oh, I don't know how much price Mr. Stark is going to buy?" The fairy stood up, his tone becoming more and more enthusiastic.

"Our lowest price vault here only costs two hundred gold gallons. A slightly better one requires six hundred gadgets. A little more expensive one thousand gadgets, or even two thousand gadgets…"

He had already figured out William's details and knew that Merlin's second-level medal was only rewarded with two thousand Gallons.

"Then let's have the cheapest one." William said without any worries.

He only has two thousand gallons, so he can't do that expensive, after all, the money has to be spent on the knife handle.

"Okay." The elderly fairy had a good service attitude, and she didn't have any impatience because William handled the cheapest vault.

He handed over a small golden key and said, "Mr. Stark, please come with me, I will take you to your vault."

The older fairies took them into a door, which was a narrow stone corridor, and burning torches shone it brightly.

The stone corridor was a steep downhill with a small railway underneath. The goblin whistled, and two small carts rushed towards them along the railway.

The crowd divided into two teams and climbed into the car. They rushed to a deeper place below the ground and passed an underground lake. Huge stalactites hung down from the top of the cave, while huge stalagmites grew on the ground.

They galloped forward along the maze-like winding corridor. The clattering cart seemed to know the road, and there was no need for a fairy to drive.

The cold air whizzed by, making everyone unable to open their eyes.

William pinched his wand and poked it three times in a row. A windshield appeared in front of several people.

The fairy seemed to be unaffected by the cold wind, and stared at the front without blinking.

William really wants to ask: Why don’t you do your eyes without blinking for such a long time?

The car drove for about twenty minutes, and several people stopped in front of a door. The old fairy pointed the golden key body at the keyhole and inserted it in, then slowly pushed it in, stuffing the entire key body into the hole.

The door will open automatically without turning the key.

Everyone walked in, and the door slammed behind them, and there was a very small vault inside.

"What would happen if no one came to withdraw money for a long time?" Hermione asked curiously.

"It depends on the level of the vault." The old fairy replied.

"We can only keep the cheapest vault for two years and need to be cleaned. If no one comes to renew the contract within two years, all the property inside will be cleaned up in our Guling Pavilion."

The so-called cleaning is actually the free disposal of the fairy.

"As the price increases, the retention period of the vault will increase, of course..." the old fairy smiled and said, "There is another kind of vault, where the keys will be passed down from generation to generation, and the things inside will never be cleaned."

"And there is such a vault?"

"Yes, that's very expensive, and it's usually only those ancient families can afford it."

William discovered that Gringott and Swiss Bank had many similarities.

The Gringott is not bound by the Ministry of Magic. Even if a certain wizard commits a crime, the Ministry of Magic has no right to take away the private property in the Gringott vault.

Swiss banks are also known worldwide for their good confidentiality measures.

Since the stored items are protected by the Privacy Law and not inspected by the police, and when storing, you only need to open a digital account and do not need to register the depositor's name, so those criminals or senior officials can rest assured that they do not have to worry about the safety of their property, nor do they have to be afraid of being suddenly found out of huge amounts of unknown property.

Like the keys of Gringott, the Swiss bank's digital accounts are often passed down from generation to generation.

William is also planning to build a permanent vault and pass it on as a legacy, but he can only afford the cheapest one now.

William was not thinking too much, he put Gallon in the vault, took away only four hundred, and put it in a small bag.

"Let's go." he said.

Everyone was disappointed when they didn't see the legendary fire dragon guarding the vault.

The ride of the small car is not as comfortable as the roller coaster of the amusement park. Isn’t I want to see the fire dragon? Who is here to this ghost place?

But at this moment, William asked, "Did you feel the shock?"

"It seems to be an earthquake." Hermione said. "This is impossible!" the old fairy shouted.

"The Guling Pavilion vault is buried 20,000 meters deep underground, with a large amount of curse protection. There has never been an earthquake in thousands of years!"

He was filled with righteous indignation, as if William was slandering the famous brand of Guling Pavilion.

Everyone didn't speak, William put a gold Gallon on the table, and the Gallon trembled slightly on the table.

Roy and the others all had a pale face, and there was no leisurely feeling that I wanted to see the Fire Dragon before!

It is located deep underground. If an earthquake really occurs, it will be buried below and will not be crushed into slag?

"Go away!" William yelled.

Everyone hurriedly left the vault, and a sound suddenly roared from the depths of the ground, from far to near, becoming more and more clear and terrifying.

"It's the voice of the dragon." said the old fairy.

"Go away quickly." Several people hurried back to the car. The car quickly ran along the corridor and towards the hall, but gravel kept falling from the cave.

Bang!

A huge rock fell on the track to completely block the road ahead. Because the car was too fast, the old fairy had no time to brake, and the car directly hit the stone.

The cart slanted and overturned, and everyone was thrown out of the car.

The cart hit the wall of the corridor and fell into pieces. William held his wand and shouted: "Shock Absorption Curse!"

A blue light enveloped everyone, and everyone was sliding in the air, falling onto the stone ground as if it had no weight, without any pain.

"What's wrong?" Leanna asked in horror.

"I don't know..." Before William could finish his words, he suddenly looked in a certain direction.

The scene that was shockingly glimpsed made everyone present feel terrified.

A huge fire dragon ran through the depths of the cave, crazily breaking the stalactite hill that was more than ten meters long.

The fire dragon finally hit a private vault, and the huge carrying stone shattered in an instant. A private vault was also vulnerable and crushed into powder, just like a firecracker in the hands of a child.

Everyone took a breath of air conditioning.

They finally saw the fire dragon...it was still close.

The value of these two hundred golden Jialong flowers!
